Mike Peacock is one of our friends from Northern Utah that share our love of hunting and of Labrador Retrievers.  It was a trip to Kansas during a Pheasant hunt some years ago that sparked this friendship.

Peacock's Chocolate Labs and Miller Labs have recently decided to share their bloodlines with one another and will be trading breeding services in the near future.  Information on these litters will be posted on both websites.

I have included some pictures of a hunt we did yesterday at a Controlled hunting area just outside of Pueblo. We got 10 Pheasants and two chuckers.

It was a great training exercise for Bodie and for Springer. Both dogs did fantastic.

The guy who owns the Pheasant Farm still has over 400 birds left over, and will do these hunts until May. So we will be able to get both boys out their several times before the next season.

I taught Bodie how to retrieve two bumpers in three tries. I now have him doing double bumpers at long distance with one of them being a blind retrieve. He is a hunting machine, and again I couldn't be more pleased with him.

I know my dad really likes Springer and he is going to be an excellent bird dog. Thanks  again for everything you guys, and take care of yourselves. The Thomas'

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to give you a little update on the pup. He is doing perfectly,  I already have him crate trained and he has adapted to the house and family just perfectly.

This last Sunday we had some friends over in Westcliffe, and did a big shootoff from the back deck for skeet. We kept the pup away at first but he gradually got closer on his own, he ended up sleeping right on the firing line as we shot. He is definately not gunshy.

I was wondering if you or your dad had already worked with them on that?   I have to say that I am very impressed and pleased with the Lab.
Thanks again Jerry Thomas Jr.
